The results are in. MARS is excited to announce that both programs MARS developed and executed for Kroger and Safeway won the Golden Penguin Award. In addition, since this is the third year in a row for Safeway, they are going to receive an Amber Award.
Winning entries embodied the Golden Penguin qualifications of excellence – representing dedication, innovation, and success in the promotion of refrigerated foods. These Gold award winners will be recognized at the industry-wide Grand Awards Reception & Banquet on October 20, 2009 during the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Convention in Washington, DC.
